Wood and Metal

So I've decided to give the Weekly Word Challenge a try. If you don't know about it, go visit Tink's page to get in on the fun.

This week's words are Wood and Metal:

Bamboo is wood.

this one is both!

I found this wooden rainbow! OOOhhh.....

both my easel and my pallet are wood

I get a really nice attitude adjustment from this metal---->

creepy barbed wire crucifixes that I found at the flea market...it counts as metal, right?

so that's it. My first weekly word challenge. Let me know what you think.

Excellent! Great job on your first WWC!

Love that old wood stove. It reminds me of one my grandparents used to have in their house.

I think that's the coolest collection of items I've ever seen for the WWC. Seriously. My favorite shot is of the rainbow. Where in the world did you find that??

The bamboo one was awesome (I can't even tell if that frog is real or not) ;)

Awesome stuff!

Wow! thanks everyone for such positive feedback.

Jay- my grandma had one of those stoves too, I can feel the heat now :)

Karen- I can't wait to check out your WWC!!

Mary- again, I bow before the master. Thanks for the encouragement and compliments!

Newt- I know!!! Doesn't that cross just put shivers down your spine? That guy had a ton of them -all sizes too!

Tink- WOW, WOW, WOW... I am always amazed at your WWC posts so I feel greatly complimented for you to say such niceties...I think I'll join in again next week!
The rainbow was at the Flea Market, I didn't buy it, but I kinda wish I would have. I loved it. It was just over some wooden bowling pins, I don't know what, if anything that symbolizes lol.

kcinnova- Thanks a bunch!
