I'm always last

OK, OK...so I was like the last person on the planet to join myspace, I never did sign up for facebook, and now, with equal procrastination, I'm on Twitter. Feel free to follow me. I know my WWC has been late being posted for nearly eternity now, I'm sorry, I'm such a bad blog girl. I've got to keep up with school, first and foremost though, and that is proving to be a task of increasing difficulty as time rolls in bringing with it, complacency and a touch of apathy. I went through this when I went for my nursing degree, it seems to hit at about the halfway mark, I don't know why. I'm really only at the 1/3 mark, but here it comes. I need to motivate myself with a quickness to head this off. I really don't want to loose focus...

In better news:
I was at my desk, work, work working away when my phone rang. I noticed that the caller ID showed an in-house phone number, and thought, hmmmm...whose calling me? When I answered, it was my boss, saying " Um...the 2nd Quarter Awards Ceremony is about to begin downstairs and your presence is requested, ma'am"
I was feeling a bit embarrassed that I had forgotten to set a calendar reminder on my Outlook, and apologized and hurried on down to the conference room. I hate to enter a room last, because then everyone turns to look at who is coming in late. I hate having all eyes on me. So anyfiddle, I walk in, sit down and BAM!! I'm being handed an award! I got Specialist of the 2nd Quarter Award! Woo Hoo!
Great, give the new girl the award and piss off all the people who've been there for years. LOL Oh well.
